hey, when i ride and my rim gets wet i get a grey/murky liquid on my rim and pads i know it the water mixing with something. but it makes my brakes have no bite and shit hold. i have got zoo pads on a ground rim with a little bit of tar. can this problem be solved or is it just another factor of wet weather trialing

thanks

I use rock blues with a sharp grind and a small bit of tar and it works fine in the wet, enough bite and hold to land on a rail, but in the dry it is amazing, especially after the tar has been spread round by the rain.

I fail to grasp them points showed in bold. Again, what? :S As in raining/ or damp?

Tar is fine. Just in the right proportion and used on the right terrain.

I hate wet weather... i found this nice spot near me, where theres loads of rocks, tree trunks, all sorts - but its down this path.

I went there today only to find out that the path is covered in MUD, and i silly attempted to go through it, only to have my 33's clogged with mud and wet leaves... pain in the arse.

Absolutely pissing it down! Works great.

Well to be honest my magura blacks seem to work perfectly fine in any weather but its probably because of all the indents in my rim from truing it with a shifter hmmm??....

Just keep on hopping!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry my black pads didn't work in any weather.
