Wrayvon
Hi all, mainly aimed at those with pc knowledge, but can you recommend a mb for me!I am in uni at the moment so I can't really research much, but basically mine has stopped working and I need to order a new one asap!I currently have 680i lt sli. What it needs to have:fsb 1333mhz, DDR2 800mhz support (needs 4 ports),At least 4 SATA portsSupport Core 2 Quad64bit supportThat is off the top of my head what I need. Oh it would be nice if it could be easily overclocked as my current one didn't mix too well with my processor for OC'ing (Q6600).Thanks!P.S Budget of £80 tops
ZeroMatt
You are probably gonna have to pay a little bit more than the 80 quid for what you require, does it have to be an nforce board btw or do you not run sli?

MadManMike
Yeah but it's not always a good idea to buy cheaper stuff. As my laptop proves. On paper it looks like a good spec, when you come to use it it's only good for general laptop duties
Si-man
One I linked gets used by CPC I think it is in their test rig. Expensive Mobo's aren't worth it usually, take a look at reviews on overclockers and CustomPC and you will see.
Krisboats
The ASUS P series and gigabyte DS series boards are the ones i'd go for in that kind of price range. The Gigabyte has the capacity for DDR3 as well so its set to last for a while (DDR3 is currently stupidly expensive )By the way, 64 bit functionality is a processor function not a motherboard one and has been incorporated into chips for the past 3-4 years or so. All LGA775 chips and respective AMD chips are capable of 64bit operations, as are the motherboards that power them.
