Frame Protector.

Seeing as my new frame doesn't have a bash plate, I seem to be slipping onto the frame alot and scratching it.

Just wondering, what is on the market to help protect my frame?

And does anyone know where to get one from?

Yes its called an armadillo,,

but they dont make them anymore so you have to pick them up second hand

If I was you I would run a bash ring if your not already to save chain snapping and free wheel/front sprocket damage. I Have cut up old tyres and cable tied them to the frame before quite a heavy solution but quite effective.

could i ask why did they stop making armadilos?

never seen one before but sounds like the best thing since sliced bread.

to sell more probably. seems anything that goes out of production is suddenly the most desireable thing sometiime later. e.g. echo 05 rims old zoo pads armoudillos and old echo/monty white line tyres
