eskimo
I said to Heatsink that he should do that but i think he said that the cost was too much. But i'm guessing your metal is allot cheaper over where you are!Awesome stuff, the black one in the last pic is real nice. Super scratch resistant! I was also mesmerised by the CNC machine. It's cool to see products being made.
Krisboats
That video was pure AWESOME!They look very nice indeed, though i can't help but feel stickiness and analogue should be changed to maybe stiffness and variations?
Danny
Out of interest how long does each one take to mill?

Revolver
I want to watch the manufacturing video, but TV. ISG is wank and won't let me do two things at once. For example, it won't let me open that link, and then do anything with any of the videos. Confused? I am, that's only one thing. b*****d TV. ISG.That is a GREAT idea!Give a lot of people a lot of options.

Rafal
Unfortunately I don't think it'll fit, but it looks a very good idea. What's wrong with that distance...? i think it cant be better than this. Crazyman: make copy of that with booster like yours and it'll be perfecthttp://www.heatsinkbikes.com/content/VA3/sidehigh800.jpghttp://www.heatsinkbikes.com/content/VA3/vertmount800.jpg Edited November 11, 2008 by Rafal
Martin t
Why is it skinniest in the middle where the stress is as high as it gets, not made by a engineer.. look at any other booster and you will find the thickest part there where it is needed. Crazyman
Oh i give uncorrect link in 3 point of my first post.Correct:3)It's very stiff and designed on modern computer cad-soft:http://www.crazybike.ru/forum/download/fil...2&mode=viewAnd all stress was designed exactly. Christophe'
what stops the cantilever posts flexing ?Im interested in this booster but would need video proof that its as good as heatsinks with an xtr booster.
basher
what stops the cantilever posts flexing ?Im interested in this booster but would need video proof that its as good as heatsinks with an xtr booster.well its going to be stiffer than heatsinks no matter what due to it being like a booster but heavier though, couple it with a xtr booster and it should be amazingly stiff
