i thought i grabbed myself a bargain when i found a promo code for these Shure SE110 headphones (banging headphones for the money) i paid £25 inc. p&p rrp £70. it was cheap and i know exactly what Shure's up to cos these were a replacement to my old E2G's...

got mine today in the post very happy. they sound great and costed me £25.

then i found this 5 mins ago..

Shure SE110 White

grab yourself a SERIOUS BARGAIN!!!!! literally cheap as chips. for £18 these are no doubt the best headphones you can get for the money, forget the previous posts about "i bum sennheisers because that's all i've ever heard and they're affordable..." i know it's only £8 but for a student that doesn't have a job it's still managed to upset me a little... anyway thought i'd share.

You of all people mike! That's a fair point, i've also used the hesh's, and i agree, they're wank, but these 10 quid on ebay ink'ds are actually epic. Clear and bassy. Just look at the figures. 18ish hz to 20khz, evidently go pretty damn low.

If you worked for a year in a hifi shop you'd know that stated frequencies are bollocks.

We had some expensive german ones that looked crap on paper, but won hands down when it came to sound quality.

People used to say "How come these are £20 more but don't go as low?" - I'd just tell them to try 'em. Of course some people preferred the muffly lower bass you get from cheaper ones, but most people agreed that the sound was more accurate and sounded much better on the more expensive ones.

No, really, they are actually good quality. People slating skullcandy, have you actually used some ink'ds?

And yes, yes i do. Do you wank over generic pop music?

i can slate skullcandy because i own a set, never wasting my time on a set again, and obviously reasons mean why they're covered in dust and not been used after a week or two of purchasing. have you used anything else other than skullcandy's or the standard set that came with your mp3 player/cd player?

pop music? yeah, why not, there's plenty of fit female artists out there who pantsing around in their music videos ^_^

Bose are good, but really overpriced.

Those headphones should be around £69, not £99.

And yeah, some AKG ones are great!

I use Sennheiser HD25's for DJ'ing as they are pretty much the standard, £89 and everything is replaceable so if you break anything you don't need to buy a new set :)
