eskimo
Some new cranks like Echo Forged or CNC should shave off 100 grams. Some flat Magnesium pedals like MG1s should get another 80 grams off. Plus a light BB like Try-All/ Meta/ Trialtech might eliminate a bit more weight depending on what your currently running? If you on a KHE Collapse chain, try a KMC 510HX. I wouldn't bother with tube changing. Try a Creepy Crawler tyre and remove some nobbles with a Stanley knife. That will kill a very noticeable 100 grams. Allot of people are doing that now. I however aren't bothered about it right now.Maybe a lighter complete rear wheel later?Alloy snail cams instead of chain tugs.Hopefully that should give some idea how to remove weight from the rear of the bike. G-baby158
If you have alook at your spec then you will see why its so heavy, you've got onza forks, they weigh a ton, the cranks they arn't making it any better and you have got to remember that the frame its self isn't light far from it. Simpson
trying to get a zip light is like trying to get a 1kg block of lead to be lighter....The frames weigh a tonne. Dont bother just enjoy riding, and when you break stuff look into lighter parts, although lightness $$ and more likley to break
NVWOCI WVS
trying to get a zip light is like trying to get a 1kg block of lead to be lighter....If you made a 1kg block of lead lighter, it wouldn't be a 1kg block of lead anymore
