mr ailsbury
I've used Koxx Bloxx Brown pads for a couple of years now, IMO they're the best all round pads on the market. They last forever as well.http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...p;category_id=
MiuSliS
I'd say bloxx is a good choice. I'm using rocks though. Work good with grinded rim + tar gives extra grip. But somehow some people managed to brake the rocks. Don't know how that's possible. Hardcore riding maybe. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...p;category_id=4 Edited November 6, 2008 by MiuSliS
forteh
also what brake should i use on the front as i only have vee mounts and a non disk hub I guess that would be a maggie or vee brake then
spaceman
You don't really have to put tar on a grind. And my advice is to stay away from tar, they kinda get runny and messy when it's wet.As for the pads, I'll recommend Heatsink
pogo
Love you dan, don't you need a wheel first?Plaz crv on the front, seem to work awesome on my mod.Onza have brought out some nifty little devices that you equip to v brakes to allow magura pads to be used. Headley
for my maggie on the rear am thinking of running it on a grind or tar also what brake should i use on the front as i only have vee mounts and a non disk hub As mentioned before go for something like koxx browns on a savage grind or reds on a medium grind. As for the front brake go for an avid SD7. They're amazing, i'm currently running one with plazmatic pads on a completly smooth rim and it's working fantastic. JonCongreve
Try the new Try-All Croco pads? Alot of people on here seem to rate them although they are fairly new. I'm gonna get myself a set when my plazzies run out.
Crazyman
For smooth rims is best neon 2008 pads.In wet neon pads work better compare with echo/zoopads. It also pretty good on very light grind. For grind and good work in wet i'd recommend heatsink coust pads. Imo they are works better then koxx bloxx brown in wet.If you have only vee mounts on front use vee-brake)) I'd recommend avid sd7 with avid lever+teflon cable and handmade or heatsink pads Good luck! polish pete
Personaly I think that the plaz CRM's are really good! Sharp grind will make them have a lot of bite and they will lock. The best brake pads I'v ever had!
Ben John-Hynes
Personaly I think that the plaz CRM's are really good! Sharp grind will make them have a lot of bite and they will lock. The best brake pads I'v ever had! But they refuse to work when it's even slightly damp.

D A N N Y
Yet again another pointless topic "What Pads Should I Get", Are you dumb or something do you not have a brain you should be able to make your own mind up these kind of pointless topics really p*ss me off, pointless if you look on tarty bikes it tells you whether the pads work good on a Light grind dry weather with tar etc.Danny
