Ashley-Wood
Basically what i want to no is are the echo sl rims actually worth getting, reason i am wanting these exact rims is because they are lighter than any other rim for sale at the moment and latly i am becoming a bit of a wait pussy, also does the rear echo sl rim come in 36hole aswell as 32 hole as it doesnt say on tarty. and by the way i am not going to be getting them from tarty for there exact amount i will paying 3/4 of the price from another dealer, before you start to go on about price.thanks for help woody
eskimo
Little early to draw conclusions. But i've had mine maybe 2 weeks. No grind as i'm on disk. Happily my tyre just flops on the rim which is great for repairing punctures quick! I'm not a basher really so no report on the sidewall strength. Anodising seems the same as the previous model, like a shiny black. The machining isn't great though i can tell you that though.
Mark W
If you're being a 'wait pussy' you could just get the 32H, lace it up onto your 36H hub (But miss out 4 spoke holes on your hub, obviously), then when you think you'll be able to sidehop 2" higher by shaving 50g off your hub and get a lightweight 32H hub, you've got the rim to go with it already? Spelling Bee
If you're being a 'wait pussy' you could just get the 32H, lace it up onto your 36H hub (But miss out 4 spoke holes on your hub, obviously), then when you think you'll be able to sidehop 2" higher by shaving 50g off your hub and get a lightweight 32H hub, you've got the rim to go with it already?Alternatively, Onzaboymark, the young man may be a "weight pussy" and not really give a buzz about the time period within which he will receive his purchase. Also, it is uncool to refer to the trials move "sidehop" in its full form. Please refrain from doing so in the future, instead use the shortened form of "sidehop".You love it. You love it. You love it. You love it. You love it. You love it. You love it. You love it. You love it. You love it. You love it. You love it. You love it. You love it. You love it.edit: To the original poster (who it would appear needs a spelling aid for his spelling AIDS): The recent Echo rims have been 32h only from what I recall.
