only1monty
hi there, just really wondering if respraying a stock onza t-rex would be worth the hassle of doing it all and stripping it down............your thoughts please, and if you have any ideas which colour scheme to go for, many thanks........... monkeyseemonkeydo
If it's still silver and black with the frames then 100% yes! The standard colour scheme is poo in my opinion! Get colourful and get creative! Mine went red with black tribal graphics on the frame and forks and looked sweet .Edit: Best pic I can find of mine... MiuSliS
If you can do it +- pro so why not. Cause people usually spray their bikes but it turns out to be even crappier than it was before. But why not, if you can do it nicely and clean go for it! mista-neos
I resprayed my rex and the striping it down was so hard, because the rear end was polished metal the dents were in it and couldn’t be removed. So no matter how good your paint job is it will look crap hoped this helped.
Krisboats
I resprayed my rex and the striping it down was so hard, because the rear end was polished metal the dents were in it and couldn’t be removed. So no matter how good your paint job is it will look crap hoped this helped. How does that help? As far as i can make out your implying that because rex's have silver rear triangles they can't be resprayed well?Back on track though, i did mine all black and it looked awesome. Now it looks used and abused again, rex's love dents and scratches though.
monkeyseemonkeydo
your implying that because rex's have silver rear triangles they can't be resprayed well?Which is rubbish. Get some nitromors on there and you're away! And spraying really is easy to make look good- just take your time and top it off with lacquer and it'll look good for longer. Krisboats
Mine looked quite nice in white while i was priming it for the black. This is how much difference a paint job makes Make sure to do the frame and forks because they look so much better like that.http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....mp;hl=krisboats
