How To Save Weight On A Frame?

So does rim tape/electrical tape. seriously using sellotape saves 2g or something, that really is stupid, nearly as bad as cutting nobbles off but meh.

Mat

which is almost as stupid as having a threaded bar with nuts either end as instead of crank bolts, looked like right ankle killers!

Goto gym and lift some heavy weights if you want your bike to feel lighter.

Cutting nobles off tyres havent heard so much shit in my life.

I'm not going to cut nobbles off my tyres. As for the gym, yes building your muscles up to improve your power to weight ratio is extremely helpful, but only if the right muscles are built up.

Almost every muscle would help trials i think. Obviously back/bi to lift up the front, legs, chest/tri for going to front wheel , shoulders will help with both of these two.

Abs will help to raise your legs for example a sidehop. Carnt think of a muscle which dont help.

Your tongue!

I've never done any excercising or work out's and the only muscles that have grown majorly are my calves, thighs partially, triceps, biceps, shoulders and the chest slightly. I have have built muscles up more than I think and on other placves too, but there the only ones that I have noticed over the years of cycling and riding bike trials.

I cut my tyres for the extra grip it gives rather than the weight saving, although, if your looking for a top world placement in a UCI comp and saving weight on your bike could be the difference between winning and loosing would it not be worth it?

If your the sort of rider who carries their bike onto a wall to throw yourself off it, then sure, saving weight is silly as it will take longer to hit the floor then :-
