Dr. Nick Riviera
It's pretty ace, it's not trying to out-bond itself like Casino Royale did.go and see it.already seen it? what did you think?
mr ailsbury
Saw it tonight, yeah it was really good.It wouldn't make any sense to people that haven't seen Casino Royale though.
Fishy
It was awesome. Go see it, but see casino royal first. I really really enjoyed it, although it did miss the essence of Bond. Lack of gadgets and the cheesey lines, but it does make him more 'human'.

Has anyone seen my shoe?
Really liked it, they have tried to humanise Bond, make him a bit less aggressive etc. Also, first bond film where the main woman doesnt get nailed? Fishy
Made him less aggressive? I thought he was more aggressive in the last 2 films.
Has anyone seen my shoe?
This time round he was showing a softer side. He still kicks arse, he just was a bit more emotionally forward
Joel
I thought it was a bit of a disappointment, great film just not what I thought it would be. The story felt dead to me, not because of the no cheese because I thought Casino Royle was the best bond film by far, but because it doesn't explain much! It is obviously going to link to another Bond sequel but I think that is just going to kill of bond? I liked it how it was a new story each time. I think they should kill off the story in the next one and go back to random scenarios. Although everything else bout the film was pretty much awesome! Great editing and sounds. A lot less product placement but still very obvious. Overall I am still pondering about it.
Rumplestiltskin
Pre booked tickets for this well in advance, and I've got to say I was really disappointed with it. The whole film seemed to consist of over contrived action scenes slung together one after the other. What plot there was was essentialy just a vehicle for introducing the next action sequence. No soul whatsoever. You could say that that's what a Bond film is all about, and that was the case untill Casino Royale. They tried to break out of a mold which was getting pretty stale and succeeded brilliantly, but with Quantum of Solace it just seems like they've fallen straight back into it. Tom_
Forgot about that actually. Still it would seem bonds becoming more human.
Sam Ward
which is completely breaking traditionback in the good old day bond could have 20 consecutive fist fights, be shot at chased kidnapped and escape and still be able to order a vodka martini shaken, not stirred without a scratch or bruisethe first time i ever remember bond bleeding is in tomorrow never dies when he's on the stealth ship and thats only after q said "never let them see you bleed"all this making a follow on is complete and utter tripe. i don't think casino royale was any good, in fact it took me a year to borrow the dvd and watch it, daniel craig is a shite james bond and all this making him more human and emotional is crapbring back sean connery and roger moore any daythis is my own opinion of course and i cant see too many people agreeing with me and im not saying the new film isnt good, i havnt seen it. infact its probably a very good film, just not a good james bond film

Has anyone seen my shoe?
Its from before all the old Bonds, it's a prequel. He probably learns to remain emotionally detatched as he goes along. Its the whole point, read the book it will make more sense

Ross McArthur
Jees, Srath, your negative about everything arnt you! Cheer up eh!I cant wait to see it. Hopefully seeing it next week with my Orange Wednesdays code I like Craig as a Bond. Just didnt think making a joke out of getting his balls smashed in Casino Rayal was a good idea. The trailer for QoS shows Bond smacking his boat into another and instead of the usual using the boat as a kicker, flying 50 foot into the air, doing 40 back flips while he shoots all the badies in the head with one shot he just bumps to a stop...more realistic

Jonny Jones
I thought it was amazing! The chase at the start was superb and the titles they used with the typographic style of each location/country change was a fabulous use of creativity I thought! - Better than block capitals at the base of the screen! Mat Tea Why
I thought it was a good film but it wasn't a bond film without Q and all the gadgetsBecause it is a prequel it won't have them Although I am sure they will be introduced in future film. Aslong as it doesn't get as far fetched as Die Another Day it should be sweet
