Greetings
Talk to MBK, seriously it's them who are causing all the problems. You're to spend a heap of money on sending a frame back which they probably won't even bother to unpack. Tartybikes has nothing to do with this, stop complaining about them. You won't find better service elsewhere and I'm sure they've done everything to help you out. Perhaps the lack of communication is simply because they are waiting for a reply from France? In the future, don't buy French.

eskimo
Before any item bought from us can be considered for replacement under warranty, it must be returned to us for assessment, with its original receipt, and within the warranty period. Any postage costs are not refundable, as detailed by our returns policy.I think the problem being is they don't have enough business yet to cover such costs unlike Play/ Wiggle etc..Doesn't MBK have a Russian distributor, or is that a daft question (cause you bought it here)? Also £190 seems bloody crazy though. I could understand £100.
Dan S
No...there s no distributors.....this was the first and the only MBK frame in Russia.....Now ,I guess, no one will want to get one))))

Dan S
Well....we don't have much frames and all of them made real bad. F.E stark..Also we have some custom frame makers - thats GAZZA with his Triton which is now closed......And Pinigin frames which are pretty good but expensive.....Which of those you saw? Tom_
I swear there was another one. Adams replying for you anyway
AdamR28
Firstly - Dan, apologies if you were expecting more emails but I didn't think all the emails I received from you at the end of last week required a reply. As you know, when you send another email it bumps yours to the top of my list and I reply from the bottom up (as these are the ones which have been waiting longest). The email I received from you at 8:30pm on Friday was dealt with at 12:30 today as you saw (I copied you in on the email I sent to MBK asking if you can send just the damaged parts of the frame back instead of the whole frame) I agree that £190 is a crazy amount for delivery but unfortunately I cannot do anything about that, so I am doing what I can to bring the cost down. MBK have asked for the frame back before they can proceed with a warranty so I am doing what I can to help with this.Anyway, I really hope it gets sorted, as always I will get back to you as soon as I have more news!Adam

Jamie_Neal
Cut the MBK up into tiny peices, would that save on postage.Sorry for the unhelpful idea.

Endohopper
I encountered a similar situation where I was required to send a damaged frame from Holland to Ireland ( admittedly not as far as Russia to U.K . ) I cited similar concerns about cost , and the supplier , Bikedock informed me that the manufacturer would be satisfied with me either sending the damaged area from which the claim arose or the B.B shell as doing so would prove the frame was unrideable , hence me not rippin' 'em off . Mr.Tarty seems to be doing his utmost to facillitate a mutually satisfactory solution , but if MBK remain recalcitrant , then you're gonna have to play by their rules .
