Dan Thornton
hi guys just wondering if the red koxx bloxx are as good as the brown ones because ive just ordered my 08 GU TP with brown bloxx, and tartybikes said they were out of stock, so im stuck with the red ones, are they any good?thanks dan
valy_kara
the brown ones are better
AdamR28
so im stuck with the red ones, are they any good? You're not 'stuck' with the red ones, but they are the closest to the browns that we have in stock. If you wish to swap then that's no problem, although I am certain you will be more than happy with the reds.CheersAdam
Ash-Kennard
i agree with adam, the reds are just that bit bittier than the browns but last about the same amount of time

adam 94
I'd say browns are better but when i had a pair they slipped quite badly, so reds must be as good.
Headley
I've had both and there's hardly any difference between them other than the reds have slightly more bite to them but browns are a tiny bit better in wet conditions. Adam Fisher
Ive been told that the koxx browns are alot better but ive run both pads for a while and i cant see the differance. And Adams write your not stuck with the pads and tartybikes are always happy enough to change your order. G-baby158
Yeah as everyone else has said there like the same pad but different colour, i think the reds are that little bit bittier thought, not by huge difference though.
Jack spalding
I've used both and I personally found the browns to be amazing on a smooth rim, with or without tar. I quite liked reds as well, but I didn't find them as solid locking as the the browns, so I often had to use tar. But it could just have been because of the different set-ups I had at the time. (2 different bikes).
