Jo Prattley
Since i have started riding trials i always thought that hope front disc brakes were the best, but recently i have swapped my good old pro 2 hub for a hope mono trial and i think its a bit rubbish. Has anyone got any tips how i can make it better. thanks

Fixed Pants™
Sounds like it needs to bed in again...
Nick Manning
what you've written doesn't make sense. You say you've swapped your pro 2 hub for a mono trial. Pro 2 is a hub and mono trial is a disc, so how have you managed to swap your hub for a disc? People can't help you if they can't understand your problem. bendy
try bedding it in again (cake it in mud and drag it down a nice big hill). If its feels mushy or suddenly the lever bites at a different point bleed it. maby the pads have become contaminated so could try baking them or getting new ones (iv not found baking effective.).my hope seemed to slowly faid and get rubbish for no real reason, I have spoken to other people with the same problem and they have sent it to hope to get it serviced for free.bendy
adam 94
Maybe you need new pads, new rotar or it could just need bedding in again as its come off the bike.
Jo Prattley
what you've written doesn't make sense. You say you've swapped your pro 2 hub for a mono trial. Pro 2 is a hub and mono trial is a disc, so how have you managed to swap your hub for a disc? People can't help you if they can't understand your problem.Im basically trying to say that i used to ride stock then switched to mod ..... so i had a pro 2 and somebody else had a mono trial front disc brake so i swapped the pro 2 hub for the mono trial disc brake sorry for the confusion everyone
