Andrex
Most of the kids round here bash the crap out of whatever they're riding, and just give lip to anyone who questions it, be they an old lady or a policeman. What you trying to say? I'm a nice respectable adult

3dd
Thats probably the most annoying question of all times .Tell me about it... I was thinking to get a t-shirt or something, saying - "yes, i dont have a seat and Yes i do want to sit down sometimes!" LoL. Some of the people are amazed some of them dont like it at all. It's a system, anything from not "normal" can be noticed straigh away. Nothing we can do...
Greetings
If they think you're damaging / going to damage whatever you're riding on or cause danger to others, they'll complain. It's as simple as that and it's perfectly understandable, though annoying.Personally I hate old people looking out of their windows all day, seeking attention and complaining about everything in sight. It's not a problem to ignore them, but it's kinda distracting when you're trying to pull a move while being abused from above. The thing I love to do when I'm riding alone and somebody decides to moan is to stop riding, look at that person, let her shout a bit and once she's finished, tell her in English that I didn't understand a word she said, and if she could repeat everything in English from the start. Although people do speak this language quite well over here, they usually couldn't be bothered to make an effort and simply walk away. matt9175
where i live you do get the occasional moan but more people are actuali intrested in the bikes and regularly ask where you can buy them from. i find if you are polite to people they will be slighly more polite to you even if they are grumpy old sods matt
anzo
Looking at the majority of these posts, it seems your the cause of your own problems.'Why hasn't your bike got a seat?' and you sell them to 'f**k off and do your research?', what a splendid picture of UK Trials riders your projecting there my friend, well done. When I used to ride, I mostly rode in City Centres, where you do stick out like a sore thumb - you always got questions and I always answered them. Occasionally, if they didn't look too dodgy or weird, I'd let them have a little go on my bike. You all moan that people talk to you like shit and that they don't understand, only you can change that; and if you're not prepared to do that then you have no right to complain about it. tris
IMO trials riders are generally considerate. Well i am at least, and maybe they have a bad repuatation because a lot of BMXer's are chavs. When im out riding, i always stay out of peoples way, i ride sensibly along the pavement. And i don't squeeze through gaps that will disrupt people. Most people respect us riding and keep hush. Some people compliment us with nice comments 'Wow, that amazing!! etc'.However sometimes there are people, generally old biddies that turn there nose up 'get off the pavement etc'. This in my opinion is a selfish attitude as I'm rarely causing trouble or disrupting people. Therefore i get annoyed and start cursing and swearing accordingly If people don't realise that i am respecting them and start moaning, have a moan back, selfish bastards........ pogo
Tried that once They ran a trip to Works (indoor BMX skatepark) Thanks guys Lol I bet that went down well,I prefer "where exactly are we allowed to ride" as it opens up so many opportunities to educate/humiliate people depending on their answer. Which wastes their time and gives me a minute to have a break.
