Lewis-Trials
Hi everyone i recently bought a Brand new Zona Zip and i have been riding today around my area and different trials spots around Nottingham. while i was on the bike standing up there was rocking movement in the forks Forward and Backward. I dont know if its okay just needs some movement in the forks or headset. Just wondered whats wrong and it okay to ride tommorow.

Adam Fisher
Well if its brand new it could be that your top cap is loose which is a easy fix ,or your headsetcould be bedding in alittle so you tighten your stem upalittle also you do this with the same problem above.Or just take it to your local bike shop and see what they say.But i wouldnt ride it until its sorted. *Koxx hydroxx 2 Jack *
Hi mate,I had the same problem with my t pro ,in my case the spacers had overlapped the stem ,so whenever i tightened up my headset it was still loose after about 10 minutes of riding .Have a look at your spacers if they are deformed at the ends buy new good quality spacers and that should fix it .Hope i have helped .Jack. Jitters
Hey, just like they mentioned above about loosening the 2 stem bolts and tightening the top cap a bit, but don't overtighten it. Make the top cap bolt a bit snug and maybe another quarter turn, so you don't go wrenching the star nut out of place. Good luck!

Good luck!Sounds good i forgot its quite new so your probably right ,it wouldn't have had time for the spacer to overlap the stem unless super cycles over tightened it (which is unlikely.) so yes just loosen the 2 bolts on the stem ,tighten up the top bolt ,but i would say a full turn to be safe and tighten up the stem , but be careful the thread on the stem rips out very easy. adam 94
Its probably just your headset. Loosen the stem and take your headset cap off and then pull up your forks and tighten up the headset. then the stem. Its probably just your headset. A.Baxter
My headset was really loose for ages, if you dont do too much front wheel moves it will be fine for a while. i eventually baught a new star nut and top cap and bolt and its fine now. You probably only need to tighten it though. Just loosen the stem and tighten the bolt in the top cap Adam
