JT!
I think there used to be some issues a while back with people having problems, it was too wide and could sometimes hit the spokes on the wheel. But i haven't heard of this for a while.Apart from that go for it.

Jo Prattley
It should work fine on the back. Ive seen one run on the back of a simtra 203 mm disc aswell it should be fine
eskimo
I'm currently running a 185mm 08 BB7 with G2 Cleansweep rotor. On a 221PR (20"). I think it still needs bedding in but it's slowly getting better. Although it feels really spongey so brake drag is quite common and makes modulation impossible. And as BB7s don't offer modulation as such it's a nightmare. But i am running XTRs cables which is most probably the reason for the sponge. I will change back to a Linear cable today and see what happens. I'm pretty sure it should solve the sponge problem. But it has amazing hold already, it doesn't struggle. But i'm still testing! Only a few days using it as a rear. I'm also one for modulation not just hold. The bite isn't as good as a rim brake, but that's to be expected... ogre
i run a 203mm bb7 on the rear, it's sick! but it doesn't want to bed in (after 4-5 months )but it's still great!
NVWOCI WVS
I ran an 8" BB7 on the back of my stock (vario styx) for a while and it was ok until i kept buckling discs. every time i replaced the disc I had to let the whole thing be in again and the brake was utter shite for a ride or 2.
