wow. im loving that silver ashton. old school meets new school kinda thing going on. i think them ashtons were the first propper trials bike i saw. I've always wanted one.

i didnt think the diamondback ashtons were released? (i saw that tucked away in the background hehe)

how did you only manage to snap one side of your forks?

at least u still have other bikes to play on.

lucky swine.

That inspired looks damn nice. any other pics of it?? How'd u snap them??

Yea might get it posted up quite soon. Not happy with it yet. lol

Just over use man. A small crack appeared and it just got bigger until they were so flexy, when I took off the wheel and gently pushed together the legs, the fork snapped!! They are DOB magnesium forks. Same as on the silver Ashton. the forks on the Ashton have a crack in them too so dont think they will last too long. :( light as f**k just not strong enough.

Old school meets new school? As in im using some new and old school parts? I can see where your coming from.

Yea ill always have a back up bike or two lol. im never happy with what im riding.

how long is that steerer on the ashton lol

lookin nice though man

I used to run a stem with a massive clamp size on those forks so it took up loads of steerer. (Y)^_^

Looking sweet there Ross. Anychance of some pictures of the Ashotn witht the Inspired?

Cheers, yea ill try get some up soon.

Haha. I used to love that bike. Bet it lasts about 10mins before you break it again.

I hope not :( . The welding on its actually looking like it might hold up....I wont be doing big drops or anything on it so should be ok I think.

I have always liked Ashtons (Y)

Looks like a mint setup!

The set up is not the best......Ill just go and update my post with a spec.

how long did the dobs last ? (they scare me greatly.)

how the fork did you get those stickers ?

About 2 weeks till I found a crack in both my pairs, maybe less. then god knows how long I rode them for before the forks did that. I got my first pair the same time as you probably. The amount of time I had them doesnt really count. I didnt put much riding time into them and they still didnt hold up. (N)

The stickers? :shifty:
