You can't really bath bleed with oil though.

You might want to consider trying the lazy piston fix on the wiki.

If the lever feels really soft, its not got enough oil in.

Maybe soon you will realise why people really do water bleeds - it is so much easier!

Yeah ovbiously you cant with oil.. but thats what i mean do it with water first and if it works with water your ovbiously doing somthing wrong bleeding with syringe.

If you've had two that have done the same thing, maybe it's something to do with you. At the end of the day you do seem to post a shit load of retarded questions, maybe your mechanical skills just aren't up to scratch?

Got me, I'm am a sucky mechanic. Yet I have to do it all the time. They both did the same thing, but they were both like that when I received them I guess. One was never used by me until like 4 days ago and the other came on my bike and I've had problems with it since day one. I do ask a lot of retarded questions, but I guess I'm just retarded.

On one the leaver was leaky, and on the other one of the pistons were leaky.

Which end are you sticking your syringe? :)

As youre bleeding the brake, tap the cylinders and hoses to help release trapped air bubbles. If the new (old) maggie slave has been sitting for a while then the seals will be dry and need freeing up and lubricating.

To be honest if youre struggling this much with bleeding a magura will you be much better with a hydraulic disk? BB7 or vee for you I think :D
