Mr Plod
Hey guys.About to format my laptop today as it's severely been raped by viruses and just been running pants lately anyway. Can anyone recommend a good Free Anti-Virus and if so could you leave me a link so I could download it as soon as I'm back online...Has to be legal as well... Not into the downloading shizzle illegally.Cheers
Si-man
AVG, is free and works. Is about £20 for the full copy that lasts 2 years aswell so you get all the updates Edited October 25, 2008 by Si-man
Muel
AVG Free and Zone Alarm Firewall, there is no better combination in my opinion. I had McAfee for years, then Norton, but this combo is by far the best if you ask me.AVG.Zone Alarm. They are both pretty good on updates, they do it automatically, so you don't have to remember. Muel
That's Anti-Spyware not Anti-Virus.

totaltrials
I have AVG and Avast anitvirus, and I think Avast is the best of the two, it seems to find viruses where AVG can't, which makes it better to me.All free on Download.com aswell. eskimo
Another vote for AVG. Panda, Kaspersky & Trend Micro are supposed to be good too. I do often use the Trend Micro online scanner too, that works pretty well.
