MadManMike
What do you want to do with it?I have a 2 month old lappy for sale for £275. The only reason I ask, is because a laptop £400 or less won't be great for playing games or music production - for general stuff like MSN, Internet, Office, Photoshop, playing music etc it's fine.If you're interested, mine is an Acer Aspire 5715Z that cost me £349 two months ago - still got all the packaging and manuals / charger, it's pretty much mint. I'm selling to buy a more expensive desktop machine that can handle my music software.

Luke Rainbird
I have a spare laptop with that spec which I might sell for that price...Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz Dual Core processor (effectively a 4Ghz processor or therabouts due to the dualcoreness, and everything with 'core' in the name is better - think hardcore, metalcore, nerdcore etc)2Gb RAM (DDR2 SODIMM I think)120Gb or so HDD15.4" widescreen TrueLife monitorCard reader (SD etc 5-in-1 job if I remember correctly, I've used it once to grab snaps from a camera and that's it)9 cell battery for uber long life (get about 5+ hours battery time from a charge)Give me a shout if it might be what you're after

It's too expensive for a 2nd hand laptop.

It's good as new!In fact, if I packed it well enough I could blag that it's brand new - I wouldn't do that though.
JT!
A couple of months is a long time for a laptop. I find after about 6 months cheap laptops have been replaced with a different model and you can't buy them anymore.EDIT: You can buy them for £300 now. Edited October 19, 2008 by JT! Krisboats
Good point ill wait for january salesI would do this too, if its not urgent i wouldn't bother. Intel are set for a load of price cuts just round the corner and the new RAM type (ddr3) is coming about now so ram and processor prices will be going down. In the next few months most laptops over £300 should be dual core'd jobbies with 2-4gb of RAM and a hard drive of around 160gb+.
