Teammad2004
Just to let everyone know our position on the London Show-We were there with Land Rover and 2x2 our main sponsors. It cost M.A.D money to be there.(although we did get a generous contribution to the beer fund from our kind sponsors)Our objective was to provide an interactive Trials test track for non trials riders to showcase our bikes and get people riding at an entry level. We had over 400 people use our facility over 4 days.We did a couple of little demo's during the day (which in no way conflicted with the main show in the R&R arena) purely to generate interest and show people what could be achieved with a LOT of practice! This was our 10th Bike show in the UK at this level, we loved doing this one the most. All the guys on the stand worked bloody hard and partied even harder. KYSO.Some pics Giles took- Edited October 13, 2008 by Teammad2004
Ben John-Hynes
A friend of mine went to the bike show and said that the M.a.d trials section was amazing, I really wish I could have been there! Well, there's always next time. Nice one lads!
JackMeek
I came down on the friday and thought it was really great seeing a interactive stand with team mad giving tips and support to riders who took on the mini course of which was pretty hard for a novice rider to just dive in but I saw no quiters and lack of people having a go and going away with huge smiles. It was like watching a trials rider producing factory. They go in like a novice and come out able to do trackstands and tricks. What a bike team to be able to that. Keep up the good work Team M.A.D. Rusevelt
For such a large exhibition centre, surely a larger stand space with better public viewing isn't a hard feat to accomplish though i bet that tiny stand space must have cost either Giles Wolfe, or Land Rover an arm and a leg
trials_pimp
You would be shocked To know how Expencive floor space at a show like that is.The MAD Arena Was a good size, enough to have two riders on the Course together. And I think the Location was pretty Good. Near the Entrance, at the Side (so you werent circled in by others) and Right UNderneath the Restuant Windows, so anyone eating could watch the Riders.
