Greetings
Got bored yesterday and decided to build one of these up. I've instantly fallen in love with how this frame rides. It's just such a natural geometry.Short spec:Echo Control Short frameEcho SL wheelset/stem/bashTrialtech bars and cranksRest is obvious. What works incredibly well is the SL chain tensioner. The chain is so tight it can't touch the frame. I think it's one of if not the best Deng invention ever. With this little thing there is just no need to run horizontal dropouts. Was planning to sell it straight away but it rides so well that I'll probably hang on to it or sell it and then build up another one. I mean is it stuck between the hub and the frame like a 74kingz?really good looking frame!
eskimo
how does it work? I mean is it stuck between the hub and the frame like a 74kingz?really good looking frame! It sits on the hub axle and has a notch which sits inside the dropout so the spring can work against that.Bike looks good! I've got a short. Mine also felt nice as soon as i got on it, but i found it lacked a bit after a while.

Revolver
does it work with king hubs?and can upwards tension be used?Echo SL tensioner"Fits Echo hubs with 12mm axle only"If that's the case, that's pretty f**king shit.Someone needs to make a copy for 10mm
Greetings
They won't fit other hubs because they replace the spacer on the Echo hub. But yeah, it's an amazing tensioner. Gave it a good ride today, would anybody like to buy this bike? It's just not my cup of tea, seems Eskimo was right. Looking for 900.
