I wouldnt recomend it. Well, deffinatly not the south east!

i can totally agree there, dont move south, unless it devon/cornwall

ideally id like to move to australia and in a few years if im not enjoying whatever it is im doing its going to happen

but inside the uk, probably stay where i am, its not a ghetto yet and its close enough to everything i need, only bad thing is house prices when i decide to move out

its not a ghetto yet

Being a chav is getting more popular by the year.

Everywhere's turning into a ghetto <_<

Can't f**kin' ride home without going past a pile of lads I don't want to let see my bike.

Well, its not strictly true, I hardly see them, but there used to be a time when you could leave your front door open and no-one steal anything because everyone respected each other.

Yes, and mothers would leave pies on windowsills without fear of anyone pinching them. Passers by would enjoy the smell of freshly-baked cherry pie and doff their hats to Mrs Miggins.

three outta four aint bad ....

for me - my old house in devon :(

You knows it. North or Mid Devon would be ideal for me. Any one particular place would have to be Mortenhampstead or Chagford, the land around there is just beautiful, theres no other way of describing it.South Molton and Exford in the north are great aswell: I used to work on a farm in Exford and it was just the most relaxed pace of life I'd ever seen.

I'm actually really looking forward to moving back to Devon after doing my degree, I miss it a surprising amount :(

Worthing, loved it everytime I have been with the family. Or abit closer into Nottingham City, just has a generally good atmopshere

What?!

It's a shit hole! Good places to live are few and far between, good areas are even fewer, and even then it's a bloody expensive to live. You either get chav's, or old age pensioners. Ferring way is nice, but it's all old people, and anything about 70db is looked upon like frozen hell.

I only stayed because of job and friends, if either was replaceable i would be in a different country. My mum has moved country and my dad is in Bristol, my time will come. :)

I want to go South California, not anywhere in the UK, i genuinely think this country is at it's knees, and finding a nice place to live is either supremely rare, or going to cost you the earth.

If it'd be anywhere in the UK, it'd be Ferring, mainly a private estate with 700k+ houses on. No chav's, can play music within reason, as you are so far away from the next house, and a safe place to live.

I would either choose west yorkshire or the south west (devon/cornwall)

I am in west yorkshire now, the further west you go (the pennines) the better views and riding there it, but there's more night life nearer the cities.

I have been to devon a few times, apart from people accents there its really nice! Same with cornwall
