Anyone Dealt With Selectbikes?

Tarty, Select and Trials-UK are all very efficient when it comes to dispatching orders.

I would say the only thing Tarty have over Select and T-UK is the fact that they have a team of staff, rather than 1 person working on the orders.

Each to their own, I just shop at the one that can get me the best price, or has the item in stock.

Remember that SelectBikes have free postage.

hi tarty is better

select bike dont tell you if something won't fit your bike

They will actually. I don't know where you've got that from :S. I'd help as much as possible and if I didn't know, I'd go measure something, check or make sure then return the call. I can't think of a time when I've never not been able to help somebody especially with a question about part compatability.

trials-uk are shit in my opionion messed up all of the orders i have doen with them, select are like 2 days delivery but get it right and are sound to deal with! tarty best trials shop around.

All the orders are sent out next day delivery either 1st class or parcel force 24 if ordered before the cut off time for same day dispatch, if anything takes 2 days it's not down to the shop, it'll be down to Royal mail, unfortunately there are delays in their service sometimes.

If you wanted a guaranteed next day delivery service anybody is welcome to upgrade from 1st class to special delivery, but it'll cost an extra £6.40 - £10 over the free postage and packaging Selectbikes does, which just isn't worth it most the time as 1st class delivery items arrive next day 96% of the time I think it is.

Just thought I'd say that as I take a lot of effort to get things out for same day dispatch, even after the cut off time and even making a trip to the post office for the odd package that comes in late so I just get there before it shuts if I have the time, it's worth it, because even I hate waiting and extra day for bits.

Phil.

I presume you mean the crank is rubbing on the cylinder (Y)

What size BB are you running now? In what frame and with what cranks? We're more likely to be able to recommend a good BB which isn't too long with that info.

On topic, I have used all 3 and never had a problem with any of them. I always reach for tartybikes first just due to their popularity I think.. Nothing wrong with Select and T-UK though.

So 2 people from the same place this has happened to? It's not possible for a frame to take 2 weeks as all frames are sent out by courier with guarenteed 24 hour delivery.

If something is going to be delayed I always contact the customer and explain. Otherwise everything is sent out same day if ordered before the cut off time.

If you can let me know your order numbers or your name I can check and find out why that would happen but I genuinely don't believe that could be Selectbikes fault, especially as I've never had anybody wait that long for Royal Mail to deliver they're order.

I've looked through the database and I've had no orders from Sheringham anyway.
