Captain Scarlet Posted October 7, 2008 Report Share Posted October 7, 2008 I am afraid it does not come with a bashplate as its a stock (26" wheel bike).They are common practice on 20" bikes, but not the 26's.There is unfortunately no universal bashplate as you described either, however it does have a bashring that protects the cog mount on the crank and to some extent the bottom bracket area.Some people have bent metals around the shape of the frame and cable tied them in place before, so if you are that keen on keeping the bike is good condition, thats probably the only way you'll go about doing it.
