Revolver
explain? how do i make 5 minute cake? lolBenThe Rapid CakeFor your basic cake, you need -4 Tablespoons self raising flour4 Tablespoons sugar1 Egg3 Tablespoons milk3 Tablespoons oilYou can also add cocoa - 2 tablespoons, or as I did, some sultanas. Whatever you like, I guess. You want a bowl ideally, so that when your cake grows it fits it just nice.Get some margarine or butter and grease the inside of the bowl. Then mix the flour and sugar (and the cocoa if you're using it) Insert your egg.Insert your milk and oil, and mix it til its good and smooth (also add your sultanas now if you're using them). You want to microwave it for 3 minutes or so.Then, wait for it to cool a bit and then scoop it out onto a plate and enjoy!(recipe adapted from here)

I forgot I was using self raising flower, and it might kind of, well, go everywhere!Either way, pictures to follow.

Greetings
Takes about 10 minutes to make and it's absolutely brilliant. Loads of olive oil + toasts give it more substance and taste. And it makes me feel I'm eating something healthier than a burger.

Revolver
I'm going to hazard a guess that if you made a milkshake with the milk and the powder, and then put that in, it would work, sort of.It's never going to be as strong as cocoa though. TheCircus
for these 5 minute cakes.... would milkshake powder work instead of cocoa powder It won't give the same taste (and it may not taste good) but in terms of recipe constitution/execution it will work fine. Hendrix
Mine failed to the kind of fail I didn't think was possible. Too dry, needed more milk and oil. Next time though, I'm going to use proper melted chocolate which should make it taste 100 times better.
