Hi Nathen you can enter on the day, its a good place to ride mostly rocks, there will be certificates at the end of the trial for 1st,2nd 3rd,in each class e.g white-blue-red-yellow,we are doing this trial as a guide to how much interest we get so we can hopefully do a series for next year, which will be good for the south west.

No its not joe, kelly farm is where they held the british motorbike round.

luke its better at botter rock there isnt any of those over the handle bar pot holes which you found so easy,it will be ok for your 24" and it wont be marked out as hard

Good on yer Melv! I was worried you'd lost interest after the last one (which I actually had a cracking good day at), glad your giving it another shot; Matts got my number if you want me to pop up and help with the sections.

Botter Rock is an awesome venue, definately one of my favourites, and also easily accessable to all forms of vehicles (no trecherours country tracks). It also is pretty hospitible in terms of weather, as most of the sections are under tree canopy and theres very little serious wind in that area. Anyone making their way down for this is on for a really good and challenging trial.

I'll do everything I can to be there.

Hello sorry but there is no over 40s just white for beginners of all ages,if we do a series for next year then there will be all classes

Nick you had better come!!!!!!!

Cheers rich i was a lilttle p----d off that day but learnt alot more about marking out a cycle trial.I will be going to botter the weekend before trial to sus things out then saturday before trial.

Mathew won't be there as he has to work, which is a shame as he has now built a koxx xp2 and gone for vees front and rear which surprised me,but they do work very well. It would of been nice to see how he got on at botter,The branch section will be used!!!!!!!!!.

If i have a problem trying to sus out some decent sections i will take you up on your offer of help.

Just remembered I'm in Kent the day before, so we'll have to see what I can do.

Ross, if you book now, you can get a single train ticket to Newton Abbot and a single back to Reading for quite cheap. I'm looking at doing that, well a single from Kent to there and a single back to Bournemouth. Only problem is that to get there for 11:30, the closet train arrives into Newton Abbot at like mid-night, so ideally to find somewhere to crash. Plus, the comp is about a 10 mile ride from the station.

If your up for it, i'l travel down with you from Reading, then if someone could put us up for the night, and possibly give us a lift to the comp or if someone could pick us up, then we'd be sorted.

An idea on the train price, for an advance ticket from Kent with a young persons railcard, will cost me £24.50, from Reading I think it was around £18.

I think post code is TQ13 9PT tryed this on aa route finder, but takes you through alot of back roads its better to go down the A38 to Newton Abbott/Trago Mills [A382] round-a-bout and go back up A38.

I will be able to tell you the name of junction over the weekend as me and mathew [british junior champ] are going down to sus out sections.Sorry for not knowing junction name its been along time since i have been to Botter Rock.Address is Bottor Rock Farm,Hennock,Devon.
