hazr27 Posted October 2, 2008 Report Share Posted October 2, 2008 hey,i went out for a ride this aft and something didn't feel right on the front end. i checked the brakes and they were fine, then the clamps and realized that the bottom left side screw was loose and wouldn't tighten again, i pulled the screw out and it had most of the alu from inside the hole around the end of it, SHAG!.i have read the pages on helicoiling frames. can i do it with my echo forks?what size is the normal maggie bolt size? I'm not to sure about all the m6 and m5 sizing's and what there equivalent is in mm.(is there a link to the "how to helicoil page"? i cant find it, and maybe one to the "how too" page.)thanks allot lad's and ladies.
