A little past my level zero skills right now, but I'm gonna borrow that idea when the time comes, if you don't mind. Thanks for sharing! Oh yes, add more nails. Safety first! Jitters
Hi all! Here's my improved practice area. So far have only shelled out cash for wood screws. Everything else has been found for free The real find was the wire spool, which I got from the refuse bin at an electric supply house. I saw another on my way into work this morning, so I'll grab that tomorrow.Hope you like!May post better pics tomorrow.

nickdonboy
does anyone know of anywhere that gives away pallets or do i just have to keep riding on them in carparks and places like T.K.maxx? lol , you should make a mini course with four or five then charge people to play on them, good for people to practice and get enough money and then you could invest in making your park bigger and better Go to your nearest industrial estate, theres always a few random pallets lying about. nick

Revolver
I'm tempted to build my own trials thing. I'll have to run it by my mother though, having a big wooden summat in your garden doesn't help to sell a house.
Jitters
I'm tempted to build my own trials thing. I'll have to run it by my mother though, having a big wooden summat in your garden doesn't help to sell a house.Throw some pretty paint on it and let her put flower pots and knick-knacks on it while you're not using it Could work, I suppose. One day I'll fashion up some nicer stuff, but hell, everything is free and it gets bashed up anyway, so I won't bother until it becomes unsafe - like anything is 'safe' with my clumsy noob arse trying to ride a bike on it .... Jitters
Easy is no fun. I just throw this stuff together in my spare time anyway. Beats sitting around in front of a TV.

kjd4000
Can you get any of this stuff thats been properly made. As in delivered to you flat packed and you build it up yourself? Like for example, the rigs trials teams use?
Simpson
Probably took me 2 hours to construct.2 hours? What were you doing, cutting the tree down, cutting blocks, sanding and nailing? Jesus man!We used to make rickety rigs out of about 15 pallets, good for practice on fo'sure
