Jake Beach
My auntie had a crate ftrom some bricks. It is a 1.5 ft tall rasied platform. It's a bit wobbly but it does me fine.Comment welcome.Cheers Jake Edited January 20, 2009 by Jake Beach
I am ze best
I think it is a good idea because you can sometimes only get a few cratesso it is better than one. But i think it would not be very strong and if a heavyperson was on it. It may collapse. But it looks quite good and is better than nothing. neotropolis
it looks good, but would maybe need some more supports to make it stronger.

Mikee
i made one of them a while back. i couldn't get any pallets but i had loads of wood so i made a 3ft tall frame the same size as a pallet i had then screwed the pallet on top. i also put carpet on the top so i didn't slip in the wet. it was good fun at the time but it's too small now Edited October 2, 2008 by mikee999

Jitters
Hi,I posted a small pic of a similar item I made on a rainy day not too long ago. This pic is the platform before it was cleaned up a bit, but it's quite stable and has provided me many hours of fun already. The nice thing about this idea is as palettes are broken, i can just swap em out, or I can stack em up to make it higher. All the wood is from scraps, so i only paid for wood screws. Probably took me 2 hours to construct.Just thought I'd share.Good to see others making stuff like this too.

nazzurro19
does anyone know of anywhere that gives away pallets or do i just have to keep riding on them in carparks and places like T.K.maxx? lol , you should make a mini course with four or five then charge people to play on them, good for people to practice and get enough money and then you could invest in making your park bigger and better

harmertrials
I got bored one day ages ago and made a bit of a rig out of pallets and 6x4. Then I covered it all in ply and painted it with exterior paint to stop it rotting. Then whacked a few staircase trims here and there to stop it falling apart. You can see it in this video a bithttp://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=agRKfjpuw9E
