Mikee
when i had smooth rims i was using rock pads (green) with monty brake spray on the rim and i found the bite and hold was really good in both the wet and dry. if you don't want too grind your rims i suggest trying the brake spray. it's good stuff! craigjames
usually run my rims smooth and it works exactly the way i like it. new wheel has a very light grind, just enough so performace doesnt drop in the wet. gotta grind if you wanna ride wet matey. SkiLLz
Nice and round really I'm getting a grind in the morning to go with my CRM pads apparently they work better on smooth but ah well. My mates rim has been ground and i prefer his rear brake to mine so hopefully it's for the best
