Greetings
I was wondering about this some time ago, wouldn't a Pro II 110mm hub just be a Profile? In terms of performance of course.

Skoze
Disc mount looks a little tight Other than that, awesome
J Trials 31
Yeah, isn't the disc mount rubbing on your frame? Looks like it.
Ashley Smith
thats not the proper pro 2 mod hub!!!!!!!!that looks like a standard mtb pro 2 shell with a 6 speed body attatched and the end caps machined, hence why the disc mount is in the wrong placei have the correct mod hope pro 2 hub here on my bike. Adam-Griffin
Looking at the picture their seems to be a tiny gap.Would imagine the disc mounts no good though, doesn't look as though theirs enough clearance for Rear disc
J Trials 31
Why bother with one anyway. I'd much rather have a front freewheel on a mod anyway. Your rear wheel is much cheaper that way as well.
steve-winder
hey guys. I am the person who modified the hub for ste racca (steve carradus). it is a normal hope pro2 trials rear hub. I took the drive shell off and cut threads into the cassete splines and made a stainless steel locking ring for the sprocket. I then machined down the axle, drive shell and outside spacers to bring the hub's total length to exactly 116mm. Built and trued the wheel. jobs a gooden steve Edited September 28, 2008 by steve-winder
harmertrials
I love the look of it. I don't understand all of the negative comments on this forum now-a-days.I think it's good to see people trying out new stuff.

Muel
Looks brilliant, but did you machine both the spacers down? You wouldn't be able to use the disc mount. I always wanted one of these when I rode mod and said several times I would buy one straight away if Hope made one, but they've only started looking into it recently so I couldn't get one. Skoze
I don't understand all of the negative comments on this forum now-a-days.Most of us (well me, anyway) were commenting on the fact that you wouldn't be able to use a rear disc with it.EDIT: Typed like a mudskipper on acid. G-baby158
That wouldn't be that hard to make really would it.Just a question why would you get a pro II modded to fit a mod when your not going to be using the disc mount or if you did want to you couldn't. ste_racca
yeh i don't see why some people are crying over the rear disc mount likei did this with intention of using it personally..i use rear maggie so it's good for mebut things have changed over the 6months it was gone and now i havnt even rode it and it's for sale as part of my full build GUIm not sure whether a disc could be used but quite simply if u run rear disc don't use this wheel eh thanks for all the positive feedback
