Callum-Luvs-Trials
Hello, I'm hopefully ordering the new Try-all brake clamps and the new Croco pads. If anyone can answer these questions for me, it would be great.Do the brake clamps actually set the pads square to the rim as soon as you tighten the bolts? And what's the performance of the pads on a medium grind? Muel
I think the general picture I got was they are never straight, because the 4 bolts mounts will be slightly out and the braking surfaces on the rim don't run parralel.Have a look at the new echo ones, they look pretty good. Muel
Yes, they're £37.50, the Try-Alls are £30, and don't have the metal clip things, the TI bolts and don't look as good. £7.50 well spent if you ask me...

Captain Scarlet
Clamps are clamps to be honest, £30 is a lot of money spent on a part that you already have, you could invest in a part that is much more substantial to your bike. eskimo
What was said in another thread is:use the upper bits on four bolt mounts only with no plastic C-clip. this will allow easier less adjustable setup.Or something like that. But it does work. You just need 2 pairs of Magura mounts. As for pads, not really heard anything. I think one guy said they were amazing, who knows?!
