I tried to bleed my hs33 for the first time last night and it didn't go well at all :( lost 2 bottles of oil! So i was thinking of just doing it with water, this way i can't run out if i go wrong and i can learn how to do it properly, but if i water bleed it then decide later on i want oil again will it be easy enough to switch over?

I really need some help with this i've read the Wiki like 5 times and it's still not working! I took the pipe off the syringe, filled the syringe with water then put the pipe back on and squeezed water through to ensure no air in the pipe. Then i connected the pipe and syringe to the slave cylinder and took the grub screw from the lever body, pumped all but about 5mm of water through the system, screwed the grub screw back on and the slave screw back on and still no luck! There must still be air in the system but i don't have a vice to get the other barb screw onto another pipe to check for air from the lever body so it's abit of a game. Please help me. Please lol.

i am not sure what you have been doing but with the syringe its quite simple.

remove both bleed screws. attach your syringe filled with water to the lowest opening.

depredd syringe filling your system untill air stops coming out of the upper opening.

insert upper bleed screw remove syringe insert lower bleew screw.
