Time For A New Brake?

HIHO!

I have a magura hs33. It feels quite spungy but still works and bites. The red TPA in the leaver has gone as in when I turn it it does not adjust the pads(I have the older style lever). I have got new pads which are fine and I have not long had the break re-bled because I had to get a front lever which is now upside down and used on the rear brake.

Im thinking would it just be best to get a new magura or could it just be the lever? Ive had the brake with the bike and I had the bike about 2 years ago amaybe 3.If it is the lever would you reccomend the echo cnc lever/TR lever?

Thanks-

Look in the Trials Wiki section, there's a how to on how to bodge an old magura lever TPA. I've done it with both of my 04 maggies and it works a treat. When you've done that, re-bleed the brake with the TPA all the way out. Problem sorted.
