Rusevelt
I take no one from here attended, and managed to capture any pics/footage of the Mad Trials demo? i couldn't make it due to engineering works on the south london railway and didn't fancy trekking 10 miles for that. Tony Harrison
Surely it would've been just like every other MAD demo? Or are you some kind of MAD fanboy? I don't think there was engineering work at all. I think you knew Giles Wolfe would be out for the day so you went to his house to sniff about in the bins for used underwear. You make me sick. There were planned engineering works over the weekend on some parts of Connex Southeast railway. ps, don't know what G.W has done to piss you off but at least he's doing something positive to promote the sport, whilst idots like you have got nothing better to do than slag him off because you've gotta big chip on your shoulder. chillout dude Edited September 22, 2008 by Rusevelt

You may find Ashton's boring, but bear in mind that they're aimed at non trials riders who always appear to be thoroughly entertained. Were you at the sniff fest too?he just pissed off a few people and generated a small army of haters, you must be one of them.I have no reason to hate the man in question. hugh_b
I rode and it wasn't a mad demo, at least it shouldn't have come across that way as it was for sky sports. It was a kinda MAD/Trials-display combined show/jam session. There were the usual mad riders but I was riding for trialsdisplay.co.uk along with Dan & Ash Butler & Rob Poyser. I hadn't ridden for 4 months and was riding a 20"! Was a tiring day but all round pretty good. Made me want a bike again!some pics i found on the net: Edited September 22, 2008 by hugh_b

My mum came up to see Chris Hoy (3xBeijing gold medalist) and had a great time, people were going round on some of the oddest bikes ever concieved and in tandom fancy dress, everyone I saw had a smile on their face and was enjoying the sunshine.Really great day all round.Rich

Was a cracking show, a really good day out for everyone who took part, I'm definately looking forward to doing more stuff with M.A.D (i mean, erm sky sports?) in the near future. trials_pimp
2 things that Do Need Clarifying. It wasnt a MAD Demo. There was a Massive trials arena Built up out of 2 MAD Rigs, Trialsdisplay.co.uk's Rig and another man made Section. The Format was 3 riders on, freestyle Jam Session. Some of the Moves and lines being pulled were unbelivable. And MAD Has nothing to do with Saracen Anymore.

Teammad2004
Hello, Giles Wolfe here! Lets just spend a moment to clarify things here shall we?1- Team M.A.D. has been around since 1996.2- The London Freewheel Trials event WAS an event organized and run by M.A.D 3- M.A.D is a limited company which happens to run Trials related events among other things.4- M.A.D does have a heart and feelings, if you want to slag us off, have the balls to do it to our faces.5- if you are coming to the bike show in London, perhaps there will be your perfect opportunity, I'll be there in person, I would love to chat and hear your expert views.6- KIIYP!
