Adam-Griffin
hello allwell my pedal thread is now threaded what can i do?thx jordonBuy a new axle or a new pair of pedals.Alternatively if your referring to the threads on you're cranks you can buy a tensile pedal thread insert for about £8 form tarty bikes. jordon23
yes but they are for Tensile cranks only
Kieran24
From looking at pictures of them it looks like you be able to drill out the hole on the crank arm bigger and tap it, then insert the tensile thingy. Possibly.
slammin_vinyl
try screwing your pedal backwards through the thread on crank (screw in from back side of crank) for a free solution, if that doesnt work which its no guarantee, then buy a tapp, as long as its 9/16th then it will fit, if your threads are trashed in the cranks badly then yes as mention a heli-coil design is needed.should help. Julius Czar
If you have inserts on the cranks, buy some tensile inserts. Bit of a bugger to get off, but its worth it.kiwi.
1337 Trials
Buy some vp caged pedals. They are so cheap at about £12 I think and will last longer than 1 pair of v8's
tom aky
What he means is that the pedal end on the crank is totally stripped of thread they are echo forged cranks.
