Greetings
white tyres? They look gash on normal bikes but they might look interesting on this one.
Marten@ScandinavianTrials
white tyres? They look gash on normal bikes but they might look interesting on this one.Thought the same, but then I think I should have gone with white rim tapes instead of black. For now, after checking how much money I've got right now, I will have to keep running my old tyres if I want to eat... Yeah I found all these Trialtech-parts in various places in my home. Figured I'd better do something with them.Linus: Thanks! Have you made sure you're up to nothing other than riding trials in Uppsala 9-10 of may? You need to be here, I'll send my mafioso-buddies to get you otherwise. So you know. Marten@ScandinavianTrials
Did they just appear? Not a fan of the way the frame looks but looks like a very nice build.Yeah, I've got this magic shelf you know...The frame is really something you either love or hate. Too bad most people seem to hate it. It isn't pretty but I like it because it looks different to pretty much anything else. Plus the bend serves a purpose, it allows for good standover but still there's no risk of hitting the maggie with your feet. Also it's comfortable to sit on when posing - which I do a lot. Ben John-Hynes
That's the 1st one of those i've actually liked. Very good job.
Marten@ScandinavianTrials
Apparently the Rohloff tensioner didn't work with the hub, frame and crank combo. When on the outside of the hanger it's too far out. On the inside it fouls the spokes... (Super wide flanges.)Anyway, this is the temporary set up, using an old spoke as tensioner and some old tyres I found behind the couch. Getting more money on friday so I'll be ordering a 74 Kingz tensioner by then, and tonight I'm ordering some new tyres. HighRoller single ply 2,5" for the rear and Larsen TT 2,35 single ply for the front. Both 42a naturally. So:Now I just have to find some pedals... Seems like a customer doesn't want the black Trialtech VP-cage he ordered so I guess I could take those...

Marten@ScandinavianTrials
Thanks guys.First ride impression: Holyshit, the only thing better than the look of it is how it rides. Mamma mia, this shit's goooood! Slammed the right crank and bashring on a ledge sidehoping though, deep cut in my soul. And about the tyres, I guess I'll just have to be smooth then...
