Mikee
im not a fan of the flats, i dont find them confortable.out of all the bars i have tried, i thought that zoo! risers were really nice to use and really confortable, so i bought myself one! Greetings
Mod: Extended Monty TIs.Stock: TrialTech.Pretty much, though I prefer extended 221Ti's on both mod and stock. Trialtech risers are fantastic, I just prefer even more rise than they offer. So yeah, unless you want to play around with extending bars, get TT's. Luke Rainbird
So far I've absolutely loved the shape and rise of my extended Monty's, but we'll see if they live up to my expectations on 24" if I ever manage to get hold of a frame! N.Wood
Tried some flats once after being on risers for years, needless to say they felt terrible.I think the poll results give you the right answer
Dan Jones
I'm used to flat bars. I have stem stackers and a high rise stem so its probably like a normal set up with risers .
Smoby
Dont it depend on what your riding?
Ross McArthur
Dont it depend on what your riding? LOL and what is that ment to mean? You ride street so you use risers and flats for comps?? No no no my son. People ride what they want, going by what they think feels nicest. I ride Extended viz risers on my zhi, normal tryall risers on my 24" and either azonic double walls 1" rise or race face diablos 1.5" rise on my project bike So risers for the win. forteh
Extended montys again, although mine are PR bars extended 2" either side up to 31". I believe the rise and sweep of them is the same as the TIs but they are a slightly different shape - either way they are the most comfortable bars Ive ever used

E.g. If your me, (ride a monty 221 pr:P) i have a money stem, if i had falt bars it would be harder to ride then if i had riser..? Get me? It might be "harder" to ride because the reach is shorter with flat bars..if thats what your getting at?
TrialsMan Dan
I ride with flats on a high rise stem for natural/TGS riding but riser and low rise stem for street. I prefer the riser though
Balthazor
Ive never had the pleasure of choice between the two, when i rode a long time ago we used DH risers there was no trials specific bars and verry little trials specific anything to be honest.I liked to use Azonic double walled bars with a 1.5 to 2" rise i got some on my Kona now hehe, would be interesting to try some flats not sure how it would feel but back in the day we rode with whatever was available and got used to it lol, all this new trials specific stuff is strange to me im still comfortable to ride anything available and learn to like it lol.. PaRtZ
Risers feel nicer to me. Currently using monty ti's and I can't complain but the trialtech ones feel nice on Bigman's coust! Not sure if they'd be the same on a mod like

I'm about 6ft 3 and i ride a zona zip, but i have an atomz stem which is roughly the same as an onza stem i think. And i am running adamant risers and i think they feel much better than flat bars much more comfortable Sean.
