Captain Scarlet
on my dob im always hitting my rotor. raped a brand new rotor the day i got it a couple of weeks back.I was skeptic of this until I actually saw it happen.Guy I ride with from this region used to have a Monty Ti, dual disc, I got his bike and placed it in every position he could hit his rotor on a sidehop (160mm rotor).I found the only way achieveable was if neither wheel made it to the wall, and both wheels slid down the wall catching both rotors.Following that insight, I watched Reece trying to sidehop a 38" wall on his dob (echo hub), for his front wheel to land perfectly on top, but his rear wheel landing on the edge causing it to slip down hitting the rotor and taking a chunk out of the wall.I think this backs up the previous point that Reece made about the Ti hub. lil Jsy Chris
Been riding duel disc for about a year now and have gone through quite a few rotors. Mainly from sidehops but also a few other moves gone wrong. But i would say if your careful its pretty easy not to hit them that often.
