cai
Well I took the advice of some people and got some new parts, now I'm only really saving up for new forks (either Urbans or Controls).-So got a DDG stem (was yellow so decided to spray it black - unfortunatly I only had silver and blue spray paint)-ProII Trials rear hub,-Took the seat off my old BMX and slammed it as much as my seatpost will allow (theres still loads of clearence between tyre and seat ),-Single speed now, with a Mr. Control tensioner,-Got some Heatsink blue pads, in Heatsink CNC backings. And I've gotta say it rides so much better Not sure about how its looks now - but its all about the ride I guess!I told you the clearence was okay!I think I'll have to get this thing a little lighter soon, as its overweight Comment away! JonMack
Spin the seatpost round and you'll get a bit more clearance
tris
thats well sweet!!! I' think it deserves a rear maggie though, a new seat, spin the post, and new bars. Then it'd b A-Class.What's the geo like compared to the Zoot and inspired?? Is it more suited for trialsy moves?? As my Zoot is aweful for holding up on the rear wheel, but amazing for spinny stuff. cai
It will never have a maggie I just hate any 'hydro' brakes...Might get a rear BB7 one day, so I can ride in the rain ~ hahaNo sure how it compares to the Inspireds or Zoots - even though I have a Zoot frame kicking about, I've never rode it...This rides amazing for both street and trials to be honest. Although I thought the Inspireds and Zoots were more suited to trials than this But I have no problems with rear wheel stuff - perhaps you need a high front end mate?
