jsy_amjonza Posted September 8, 2008 Report Share Posted September 8, 2008 on my bike, i was just changing my bottom bracket, couldn't get it off, so ending up cutting through it just 2 get the thing off, i'm sure u will not hav 2 do tht though i'd go with a shop. slammin_vinyl Posted September 13, 2008 Report Share Posted September 13, 2008 (edited) bolt the bb tool to the axle so it doesn't slip off when you re undoing it top tip failing that if you have the tools to do it and a vice then you dont have anything the bike shop doesnt, just make sure you have clearance round most of the desk unless you wanna start strippin your bike down... which i think not.and a lever bar.... may cost you a few quid but will be usefull in more than just one job.worked with bikes as job for over 3 years, wouldnt want to sound big headed cuz i know theres people in the industry more knowledgeable than i but im sure it will work.
