JonMack
Google Chrome is out at 7pm, hopefully will render the same as Safari as it uses Web Kit so my job won't be made any harder, but I'm looking forward to trying it out and seeing if it really has taken the best bits of Safari and FF and megamashed them together. It's the little details that excite me, isolated tabs, google apps becoming desktop applications, etc. They're doing the videocast now, looking forward to the official launch. Muel
I've only just got FF3 sorted out with the right theme and plugins, so I'll probably not get it, but it sounds like a really good idea!I'll wait until Jon's official verdict before downloading it though. Danny
http://www.google.com/chromeI must say its very fast at rendering pages. It won't overtake FF as my main browser unless they build in smooth scrolling and all my dev tools.
JDâ„¢
Looking very FF3 so far, but with a more intuitive UI. Will post more findings as they come
Dan6061
Using Google Chrome now. It's awesome. No toolbars or anything in the way, loads quickly... does what I want it to.
Mark W
It's alright, yeah. Bit weird having the tabs above the address bar, as that's different to every other browser I've used so it's taking some getting used to.Equally, when I'm scrolling pages I used to just click the scroller wheel on my mouse, then move the mouse up and down to regulate the speed - I can't seem to do that on Chrome? May just be me being a 'tard or something, but yeah, doesn't seem to work...
Haz
I have a fair few FF extentions, until there are equivelants on Chrome, I see no reaosn to move.

Mark W
I'm just glad someone agrees with me, I posted that on another forum (:$) and got told to stop whining, and that scrolling manually like that wasn't hard enough to complain about

JDâ„¢
Don't have any of the scrolling issues due to laptop using page up/down buttons. So far I have zero complaints, everything's super quick, spell check works a charm and no crashes so far..
Hendrix
You have a PC too though Doesn't have internet at the moment. Wireless is being strange and not connecting.
