Greetings
Wooo, need to find out more about these.... edit: on second thought, this is probably just hand made isn't it?My mate recently started making square holes using some kind of machine (not CNC) and they looked fairly similar in quality. Mark W
How come the spoke holes on the Trialtech rim are in such a straight line? I thought having them a bit further apart generally meant a stronger build?

Bigman
Glad everyone likes them, just to clear it up, you will NOT be able to buy rims the same as this, i took an 06 echo front and trialtech undrilled rear and stuck them in my grandpa's milling machine, I have built the front today onto my Viz front hub and alu nipples, got a try all front tyre and a std tube and i have to say it is a rather light wheel! Realy looking forward to getting a bike built up with these wheels!!!Were did the Koxx go?I cracked it, same place where Patt cracked his, at the end of the weld on the downtube/headtube gusset, currently on its way to Tarty for inspection, hopefully it should be replaced on warrenty.Adam

Rusevelt
The holes on the front rim look way too big where on earth are you gonna find strong enough rim tape for that? Edited August 31, 2008 by Rusevelt

Luke Rainbird
The holes on the front rim look way too big where on earth are you gonna find strong enough rim tape for that?Going on what I've seen you post about on here, the frequency of your technical posts being accurate, and knowing Bigman (and thinking about the rim for more thn a second...), I'm prtty sure you'll be proved severely wrong
JonMack
Rusevelt in idiotic post shock horror - turn to page 2.The holes on the front rim look way too big where on earth are you gonna find strong enough rim tape for that?Strong enough? What the f**k are you on about.
AdamR28
I thought having them a bit further apart generally meant a stronger build? Why? Closer together = more triangulation = 'stronger' build.so... ummm how long til tartys offers the service of squaring out the holes in rims????110% never.
