What's too long to a certain degree is a matter of personal preference. Post a photo of you on the bike and you might get a better answer (Even comparing it to photos of other people on their bikes might give you an idea whether it looks right). For your height the short version of a given frame sounds like it should be a better option. If the bike feels fine (No shoulder/back pain, easy to weight shift onto the front and back wheels etc.), then it may be just a matter of getting used to the new frame - If you're not seeing an improvement after a week or two of riding it then something is likely to be wrong alright...

To be honest the zona probs is alittle long for you im 5'8 and its perfect lenth for me all you can do is try the Adamant, im guessing you have bought the short frame version? If so that looks like it would be perfect for you:D

Yeah, the stem/frame/bars combo is the main thing... You can make a bike feel COMPLETELY different by just changing the stem.

In my opinion, if you can't pull the bike up into a manual from rolling along then the bars are too low/frame is too long/stem is too long for you (Y)

I have a Monty PR stem on my Zip, and it felt so much nicer than my high Echo Team one I had before.

Even changing the angle of your bars makes a huge difference!

Just fiddle about with it, you will get to like it. I'll only ever get rid of mine when I break it, and that won't be for a long time...

Dan, you cracked your's already. :P (So did I, but it's a fault on them.)

Stand your bike on it's end, if the front wheel isn't higher than the top of your head, it isn't long enough.

What has already been said is right though, it's bar about your bar and stem than anything, although your WB does play it's part obviously.

exactly what i think too.. i always check this when building bike for myself, and adjust bar/stem/spacers as required.
