Ben John-Hynes
Avid BB7s are highly recommended by many on here,And they're a lot cheaper than any decent hydraulic disk too.

Muel
Front Hope Mono Trial, any disc hub with sealed bearings. Monty TIs are good because the rotor bolts can run right through the spoke flange, so you can run super long bolts, so no risk of stripping the threads out of the rotor mounts! (Unless you like over tightening things!)
Sam-Addy A3
Hey, with £200 you can get alot!As for a front brake, avid bb7s are amazing, great hold and have a really nice lever feel if set up properly. The brake by its self with set you back £40 but you will need to buy a lever and cable.Brake: http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...;category_id=12 £40Lever: http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...;category_id=71 £11and you can get a cable from tescos or somewhereYou will then have £145 pounds left for a hub. This means you can afford one of the best hubs on the market and have some cash left overChris king hub: http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...;category_id=20There are many other hubs on the market if you don't want to spend too much but with a chris king hub and an avid bb7 you will have a truly amazing setup.Hope this helpedSam
Alien
I'd say you have no reason to spend a load of money on a front, theoretically, all it has to do is hold bearings, so something like a Hope Pro II (which I personally use, its been flawless), or a Pro II XC if your worried about weight. For the brake I've heard good things about the Hope Mono Trials, allthough can't comment on it personally.Any reason you specifically want a front disc? J Trials 31
Hope mono trials and pretty much any disc front hub. Front hubs aren't really that important as they usually don't break.

Personal prefernce though.

smithy
my mates was wa*k and now he got a hope its the best thing he ever didYeah! Don't bother with an Avid, just go for the Hope. There pretty sick. And for a hub. Its totally up to you, depends on what kind of rider you are. If you're a smooth rider you can run pretty much anything, because you wont brake it. I run a T-master hub up front (nothing special) but it does the job. But if you're a crazy street basher you might fancy somethig more stronger like a king or something deng like.Smithy x
