I don't think Echo Control fans will be to happy to know that the bb has increased in height by 15mm :o , unless it only applies to the SL version and not the TR, or urban range. ill be interested to know what deng has done with 09 Adamant, and Zoo bikes  . can't imagine deng doing anything more to the 09 GU's :S or CZAR's :- .

I heard hes only changing the Echo and Zoo range, all the other remain the same.

And as for the BB height, stems easy enough to change.

The TR/SL/Urban groups are for parts and forks only. I doubt there'll be anything like a Control TR since there's no such thing as a Control SL. The frame that's been discussed is the replacement for the 2007 model.

Glad he's moving trials forwards (Y)

I just hope someone can make a decent, strong light fork that doesn't crack at the disk mount.

Unlikely, in that if he did it'd probably end up being pretty expensive if the whole "Strong/Light/Cheap: Choose two" thing lives up to the hype :P But yeah, people are creaming over lightweight stuff, so if he released a pair of forks that were heavier than the competition but actually strong, I really doubt they'd sell apart from to a minority. I guess it's going to be a cyclical thing - aaaaaages ago when stuff started getting relatively light but weaker, and then people started complaining and it sorta leveled out again.

Well for example Mark, my KOT forks... Cost £60 2 years ago.

They weighed about 900g, lasted me 2 years of learning to hook and went through 3 frames before finally cracking on the disk mount.

My Echo Controls retail at like £75, and lasted 4 months, saving me less than 200g in the process.

Both were comepletely acceptable weight wise, and yet the cheaper ones lasted 6 times longer.
