Have we decided a date then??

The last suggestion I made was the 2nd of November at Milton Keynes (I can no longer make the 5th of Oct). If no-one has any issues with that I will fix the date and place and then post details up here in the next day or so.

Wahey I'm back from 2 weeks in the south of france!! :)

Drove the S40 down there and clocked the journey home - 880 miles!

Had plenty of issues with the car of course but not too bad considering it had done a whole 150 miles after it had been built before taking it to the spanish boarder.

Most weekend dates are ok with me, location - the closer the better of course!

oh how ive missed this place.

I was joking, RWYB would be ideal frankly because I'd love to see what peoples cars would run down the strip.

im up for this id of thought rwyb would of been a popular one as its cheap and a good day out id prefer that to be honest if you aint got a quick car dont go down the strip lol

Is it wrong for me to try and have MK in under an hour?

Google earth says it should take 1hr17minutes..67 miles or something..

You could do it in that, with no traffic. When you hit MK's though, unless you know your way, or have GPS, it could take you ages to find the place!

Nothing to say a rwyb meet can't be organised in parallel or as the next venue... :)

Is MK still the favoured venue? just its now 3rd in the poll.

I'm going to roll with it, mainly because the people that voted in the poll before I added the date and venue are unable to vote again, so it is missing their (our) votes. Most of those original people have voted for MK in their posts and there hasn't been much of an outcry when I suggested fixing the venue as MK.

Ok people, time for some finalised details.

Hopefully people will be able to make it. I for one will certainly be there. The pub does good food for those that want to eat, and is a good location for pics :)

Yeah, I realise that for some people the meet is going to involve a lot of driving, I think it was always going to happen with everyone on this forum being spread nicely across the country.

Would certainly be good if you could make it, and the same goes for anyone else considering making a long journey to attend :)

This looks like it's goig to be a fairly big meet, awesome :D

Congrats on organizing it well, OD

Hold that comment till we see who turns up :P

Hopefully it will go well though, such a diverse range of cars on this forum it would be a shame not to meet up and peruse each others car.
