Captain Scarlet
Yea I want to change my email address because my current one is a bit dated, the name, some of the contacts and the amount of junk I get.Only thing is I don't want the hassle of manually going around changing my address on every forum, networking site and website I am on, its bad enough I have to add or get everyone to re add me.Using Hotmail, is there any function for transferring contacts and emails? So pretty much all the sites send their information to my old email which transfers it to a new email address? And also copying all my msn messenger contacts over just to make things a bit easier?Cheers,

Deonn h
Yes ."Just log in to Messenger using one account, hit the Contacts menu, Save Contact List and save to a file. Then login to Messenger with a different account, hit Contacts, Import Contacts from a Saved File, load up the file, and you're done." Hendrix
You can export your MSN Contact list into a file, and then import them on the new account.

Hendrix
You can set your mailbox to forward all your emails to your new account... or, if you email hotmail and ask nicely, they may do it for you .
Guest
ive got 1352 spam emails, is there anyway to block them ALL at once, cause i cba to delete them....
Mark W
There's a 'delete all' button by the side of the Junk Folder on Hotmail's new mail page thing? I'm pretty sure there's a 'select all' thing too...If you're getting a load of spam 'n' stuff to your old address, are you sure you want to forward all your e-mails to your new address anyway? Seems like it's still going to be a problem, in that even though they have to go through from one address to the other, you're still receiving the spam e-mails? Guest
its probably best just to keep all the emails as a collection. as er that would be cool you see..... 'the man with the most emails award goes to.......'yeh whenever i tick the little box it only deletes the page i can see, so yeh ive got 30 less emails now. so if im right ive got to do that about 40 more times?
